Young Children’s Poi (Preschoolers age 3-5 years old – orange & black, tui & harakeke)

Preschool poi are a fun activity for young children at kohanga reo, preschool or kindergarten. They encourage hand-eye coordination, dexterity, bodily control and rhythm.

Our poi for preschoolers are designed to fit the hands of tamariki aged 3-5.

Poi are used in Kapa haka (Māori performing arts) and provide a means of self expression and story telling.

The poi itself is covered with fabric which features a tui and some harakeke (flax). The handles are orange and black to match. There is currently just four of these sets available. The design images featured are not exactly the same on each set of poi but the colours are.
