Description

An old Kuia (female elder) continually fights with a spider living in her kitchen. This ongoing fight starts with whose weaving is the best. The Kuia weaves mats, baskets and kits and thinks her weaving is the best. While the spider weaves to catch food and to wrap food. He is sure his weaving is much better than the Kuia’s. It is decided they will have a weaving competition and both the Kuia and the Spider’s grandchildren will decide when they visit on the weekend, whose weaving is the best!
