About the Authors:
Toby Morris is a New Zealand cartoonist, comics artist, illustrator and writer, best known for non-fiction online comics that often highlight social issues.
Mark Derby is a New Zealand writer and historian who wrote for Te Ara for six years.
Ross Calman (Ngāti Toa, Ngāti Raukawa-ki-te-tonga, Kāi Tahu) is a freelance writer, editor and licensed translator. Ross is the author and/or translator of a number of works on aspects of Māori history and culture. Other titles available through Poi Princess include:
