ANZAC heroes 30 courageous ANZACS from WW1 & WW2 – by Maria Gill illustrated by Marco Ivancic

Read the biographies of ANZAC soldiers, as well as Air Force and Navy soldiers, medics, a spy, an ambulance driver and a humanitarian; surviving battles in England, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific. Anzac Heroes includes famous soldiers such as New Zealand’s double Victoria Cross recipient Charles Upham, and much-honoured Australian Hughie Edwards. But you will also find not-so-well known indigenous soldiers, such as Albert Knight from Australia and Peter Buck from New Zealand, and brave women Olive King, Joice Loch, Nancy Wake and Dr Jessie Scott.

Marco Ivancic’s stunning, lifelike images of men and women in action draw the reader into the defining moment for each hero.
