About the translator:
Kiwa Hammond (Ngāti Kahungunu o Te Wairoa, Moriori, Rongowhakaata, Ngāti Rupani) is a Toi reo Māori translator and specialist in te reo Māori. He lives in Te Wairoa, Te-Matau-a-Māui, northern Hawke’s Bay.
About the Author & Illustrator:
Robyn Kahukiwa (Ngāti Porou, Te Aitanga-a-Hauiti) is one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s most important Māori artists, and is also an award-winning children’s book illustrator and writer. Her art has been exhibited worldwide and is held in numerous collections. Robyn lives in Raumati Beach, near Wellington.
